Light Who is Watching You?

The lamp was created for the Prague design festival Designblok 2011 on the subject of city. Its shape refers to the industrial camera. It preserves its industrial character and adds a contrasting colour detail in form of the turquoise electrical cord. It is a domestic reminder of a common, almost invisible element of city scenery and also represents a dilemma about borders between security and the absence of privacy. 

Allt Studio of Peter Simoník and Elena Simoníková is one of the few independent design studios, which integrates design, development, realisation, marketing, and sales of products. Their products are mostly presented as originals or limited editions. Their design is characterised by narrative aspects and communicativeness. This is how the designers articulate their attitudes to the world, society, events.
