„If it wasn't for the name up hajl, down hajl, my grandmother might have thought what a beautiful embroidery - the villagers welcoming the three kings.“

The traditional-looking embroidery uses clear symbolic language, but the subject matter points to the growing fascist tendencies of the so-called 'Hejslovaks'.

It holds up a mirror to (not only) Slovak society that is as unpleasant to look into as it is necessary.
